boat trip

This afternoon most of the teaching staff of the school went for a boat adventure. We travelled down the harbour to the open water of Hudson Strait where we saw several icebergs and went close to one. It was so awesome and so beautiful shining in the sun. We also saw a herd? as pod? of harp seals. I didn't manage to get a picture of them because they are pretty wary of boats because the hunters from Kimmirut shoot them for the meat and the skins. We also went to a marvelous place where there was a pretty waterfalls and we got out and wandered around taking pictures and picking berries. The weather was perfect for the outing although it was beginning to get cold by the time we got back around seven PM.
