getting ready

Things are progressing nicely although maybe a little too quickly! The movers came Monday Aug 25 and took the bulk of the stuff that I would like to have in Kimmirut. I managed to find a snowmobile that met the criteria that I wanted, namely, long track, and fan cooled. It's a '99 Skidoo, Touring LE, and the best part is that it has only 61 miles on it. I have had to buy a number of other things as well, such as a microwave, toaster, dishes, cutlery, etc. I have also bought a laptop computer and a new digital camera. I hope to be able to include some photos in my blog. My flight is booked for August 16. On that date I can make the whole trip in one day, Toronto(7:00 AM) to Ottawa, to Iqaluit, and then to Kimmirut(arriving about 2:30PM). Should be an interesting day
