Home again, home again, jiggity jig
Well here I am in the balmy south. I arrived last Friday evening after a delayed travel schedule. The snow in Ottawa delayed the flight to Iqaluit that was returning with us to Ottawa. That meant that I missed my connecting flight from Ottawa to Toronto. Altogether I was more than three hours late, so Laurel had a long wait. On Sunday I went to church and sang in the choir, and on Sunday evening took part in the CBC reading of Dickens Christmas Carol. It was St. James' turn to host the event this year. Yesterday, Monday, I drove to Parry Sound and scrounged some science equipment and some old texts from the high school. I will take them back north with me as there aren't many resources in the school up there. Laurel and I plan to go back up to Parry Sound on Wednesday to see our folks, and then on Friday to Peterborough to see Laurel's sister, so you can see we have a pretty busy schedule. I will also join St. James choir for Christmas Eve candlelight service. It is good to be home and I look forward to seeing many of you over the holiday. Merry Christmas!
