classes and hike
Hi Everyone. I've survived my first full week of classes and think I may make it until next June. After the first couple of days I wasn't sure. My classes are beginning to take shape, but for the first couple of days it was quite a struggle with my Gr 8/9 Science/Math class. The week ended well however. I received about half of the stuff that I shipped earlier in July. Of course, I got my snowmobile which I won't be able to use for two months yet, but didn't get my dishes, cutlery, and some other essentials. I did get some kitchen stuff though, such as the bread maker. I got a loaf on right away! Today Paul Mooney and I went on another hike. We wanted to see where the sea goes through a narrow gorge before it gets to Reversing Falls on the Soper River. We saw it on the map and thought that it might make a good hike. Wow! What a sight. The tide was rushing upstream like a mighty river. I took a short video clip that I am going to try to put on the blog. Hope it works. If not I'll send some stills. We had a great day, and on the way back we hiked to the site of the sapphire explorations. Very interesting. Hope everything is going well with my friends back in the south. Till next time....(sorry the clip won't work)
