Happy Easter

Hi all
Happy Easter. It would have been nice to attend Easter services in the south, but I did go to the local church this morning. It's still hard to feel very inspired, as the entire service was in Inuktitut, but it was better than nothing. Actually we have had an extra long Easter weekend, as two elders have died this past week, and school was cancelled last Thursday, and will likely be cancelled Tuesday morning for one of the funerals, and perhaps another day for the second funeral. The weather has been quite mild, with light winds so I have got out for a time each day. I plan to ski tomorrow again. We are into the best part of the winter up here now, with long mild days, and still lots of snow and ice for snowmobiling or skiing. I got out for some pictures yesterday and have attached a couple more ice wall pics. I am still facinated by the effects of the rising and falling of the tides. Classes continue to be challenging, but I am learning that the only real pressure on me as a teacher is the pressure that I put on myself. I just have to take one day at a time and if I make a difference for just one kid, I've accomplished something worthwhile.
