Its been a beautiful weekend in Kimmirut. Balmy temperatures of at least 15 degrees, and clear skies and calm winds all day today. (of course calm winds mean black flies, big ones!. I went for a jog this morning and took a couple of pictures, then I went to the Anglican Church. The service was conducted entirely in Inuktitut, so I didn't understand much of it. However, the liturgy is somewhat familiar, so I was able to guess at what was going on most of the time. I spent most of the afternoon getting a slide show ready for my classes with a number of pictures from home to introduce myself. I'll include a picture of the 'kimmi', the heel, at low tide, and a shot of the Co-op building taken from the tide zone in front of the building. The third is of the Anglican churc altar.
